The formula is free of parabens, glycerin, and propylene glycol, which are commonly found in conventional water-based lubricants. Parabens and propylene glycol are both known to be irritants, causing unwanted reactions in many women. Glycerin is a sugar alcohol that provides a favorable environment for Candida albicans, the most common fungal organism responsible for vaginal yeast infections.
Swede has lowered the pH to 4.5, which is the average vaginal pH. The formula is condom-safe and can be used with all sex toys.
